Blue jay. You hopped across the fallen red berries, against my soaked moccasin skin. I told a lover that I wanted an end. He’s too busy to care. Agh. I am going to bed for a bit.
Soggy fields. Broken sunflower stalks. Rabbit fur coat. A drink or two. Counting down the days. Counting down the hours. I’m almost home.
